Race Shuttle for Mitsubishi

Brian James Trailers are delighted to announce the supply of a new rather special version of our Race Shuttle RS5 to Mitsubishi Motorsports. The trailer will be assisting in their efforts to return to the WRC championship in 2004 and we wish them the very best of luck.

The trailer has been made in Mitsubishi red, with the colour locked into the gel coat of the body for maximum durability.

TT Series now with Tilt-bed option

Brian James Trailers' brand new TT-Tilt-bed trailer range can now provide a solution to many operators' problems. The TT-tilt-bed trailer combines a tough commercial design with highly capable load bed area and adds easy hydraulic tilt-bed operation. Fully specified, with all legal requirements plus a spare wheel/tyre and a 2-speed braked manual winch, the trailers are priced from £2,395.00 plus vat, providing exceptional value for money.

The quality of the trailer is in no doubt, having been derived from the long term trailer design of the TT Series, which has been used by many successful transport organisations for over ten years. The prices are intended to make this range the most popular on the market. As ever, all Brian James Trailers have a 5-year chassis guarantee.

Magazine man approves

A visit last week from Autocar's 'Motoring Week' journalist Steve Cropley, here to collect his own new trailer. He later had some nice things to say about our customer service, our trailers and even this website, in his column in 'Autocar' (4 June).

Steve says he first became aware of Brian James Trailers at Shelsley Walsh, where he kept seeing our logo on trailers belonging to his rivals!

Brian James sponsors Ford

Brian James Trailers have announced their sponsorship of the The Ford Rallye Academy. Offering a unique opportunity for young drivers aged 13 to 17 to take part in a professional rally training programme, the Ford Rallye Academy course is designed to start them on a clearly defined career path in rallying. It aims to give young people the skills needed for a professional rally career at an early age, up to three years earlier than previously possible, and the Academy intends the format to become as popular and successful as karts are for circuit racing.

The 10 round format will take participants through a learning process which will introduce them to the world of rallying in a safe, controlled environment while giving them their first taste of true competition. All areas of the sport are covered, including basic maintenance, working with a navigator, understanding pace notes, and media and self-marketing skills.

A brand new, highly stylised rear light system is to be made standard equipment on many of the high quality BJT range with effect from April 2003. The unitary design will bring to these trailers enhanced durability of lamp and loom design as well as a strong all-round surround lamp mount bracket. The raised rubber stalk lights are a useful addition to the specification of any trailer and will appear as standard equipment on AD Series and AutoTrailers.

Also available at the same time is a brand new Aluminium extruded loading ramp design. An optional extra on all trailers, this ramp system is exclusive to Brian James Trailers and will provide a real benefit to all operators, being lighter and far less harsh to handle.

Autosport-International Show

The annual Autosport International Motorsport Show was the natural place for Brian James Trailers to launch two brand new trailer types for the new season:

Minno Sport is a brand new version of the ever popular Minno trailer for the smaller race and track cars, such as Caterham 7's and Westfields. Unique high-impact polyethylene bodywork is the most noticable feature of this striking trailer, available at launch in three different colours. The major operational improvements are the inclusion of aluminium loading ramps that effortlessly pull out from the rear of the trailer and a unique innovation, the Faste-Loc strap down system, which has overwhelmingly been deemed to be brilliantly simple and effective. More details of this trailer to follow very shortly.

New Clubman range

Three main models (all of them four wheel trailers), the CLUBMAN 950, 1200 and the CLUBMAN HYDRAULIC. Most visitors to the stand have been amazed at the superb value for money these trailers represent.

The World's best Motorsport Show

The Brian James Trailers team will be exhibiting some brand new trailer models at the Autosport International in January.

We are pleased to announce the launch of two new ranges of trailers both designed to extend the scope of the range even further. The development work has been going on in house for months now in our new R&D facilities, the results are expected to be very interesting indeed.

2003 sees a move to a much larger stand and we look forward to welcoming you there. As well as the trailers we will be featuring cars with which we have a close association. There will be a new Mini Cooper Trophy car representing our co-sponsorship of the Mini Trophy race series this year as part of a new three year deal and there will be a Caterham Academy car continuing the very long standing sponsorship of the Academy series by Brian James Trailers. A Van Diemen Formula Ford racer will complete the set.
